Safety & Trust
Caregivers stay. Always. That's our first safety practice.
Little Explorers Society is not a drop-off. A caregiver from your household is present at every adventure and responsible for their own kids. We never imply supervision or babysitting — the relationship is family-to-family.
The caregiver-present model
It's the heart of how we keep kids safe and how they learn best. You stay with your child, you're responsible for your child, and you're part of every moment. We are not a daycare, a camp, or a babysitting service.
How we keep adventures safe
Safe by design
Background-checked hosts
Every paid host clears a background check (Checkr or equivalent) before they ever meet your family.
Defined ratios
We hold sensible adult-to-kid ratios at every adventure — and caregivers are always present and responsible for their own kids.
Signed waivers
A liability waiver is signed at signup, and per-event for non-member guests. You can view a sample anytime.
Weather & emergency procedures
Clear weather-call cutoffs, first-aid coverage, designated meeting points, and posted emergency procedures.
Vetted civic partners
Civic visits include a context briefing for kids about uniformed personnel, with no separation from caregivers.
Easy reporting
Flag a concern anytime — directly to the founder's email or via an anonymous form. We follow through.
Insurance & coverage
We carry general liability, abuse & molestation, auto, and professional coverage. Policy carriers and limits are shared with members in the portal. An insurance certificate is on file before any adventure runs.
Report a concern
Something feel off? Tell us. Email the founder directly or use our anonymous form — every report is read and acted on.
